The back of the shorts taper into a deeper V cut to shape and accentuate the booty even more 

The structure of the fabric underneath the booty contouring is slightly thicker, giving added compression and lift to the glutes

The recoil waistband sits slightly lower and the bottom of the waist band dips further down at the front for increased lower core control
